Applications are invited from Indian citizens in the prescribed forms [Price of forms Rs.250/-] obtainable from the Sales Counter, Rajbati Office on all working days (Monday to Friday) from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. or from our University Website : http://www.buruniv.ac.in. Downloaded form shall accompany with a Crossed Demand Draft or a Cash Challan of the University cash counter of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of the Registrar/Finance Officer of the University for the following posts. Completed applications in the prescribed forms along with Photo copies of two sets of all credentials must reach the office of the Registrar by 07.06.2012 (Through proper channel, in case of already employedcandidates). No T.A. / D.A. is admissible for attending interview. It should be noted that possession of minimum eligibility shall not confer any right to be called for interview. Selection need not be confined to those who apply formally.

1. University Librarian : One post : - (a) Essential : (i) Uniformly good academic record with a B+ Master’s Degree in Library Science or a B+ Master’s Degree followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. (ii) At least 10 years’ experience of working in Administration/Management position in a Library of a University or an Institute of Post-graduate Studies. (iii) Age not less than 40 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidates.
(b) Desirable : (i) A Doctorate Degree or published research work of similar merit.
(ii) Knowledge of at least one foreign language (other than English).

2. Deputy Librarian : One post : - (a) Essential : (i) Uniformly good academic record with a B+ Master’s Degree in Library Science or a B+ Master’s Degree followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. (ii) At least 10 years’ experience in working in senior position like Assistant Librarian in a Library of repute, preferably in a University on in an Institute of Higher Learning. (iii) Age not below 35 years. Relaxable in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates.
(b) Desirable : (i) A Doctorate Degree or published research work of merit. (ii) Knowledge or foreign language.
